BRAIN XP the Book
Brain XP: Living With Mental Illness, A Young Teenager’s Perspective
Written by a TEEN for TEENS!
I wrote Brain XP when I was 16 years old. I wanted to give teenagers the ability to read my story, so that we could all feel less alone. I searched for years trying to find a book that was written by a teenager because I wanted to relate to someone my age, not all the adults. When I couldn’t find the book I was looking for, I decided to start writing my own. Less than two years later, Brain XP has grown from my inspiration to others’ inspirations. I am 18 years old now, and I can proudly say that I have also become an award-winning author! I have won an international award known as the IndieReader Discovery Award for Best Psychology/Mental Health Book of 2019. I also have been honored with an award from my hometown. I won the Best Published Biography/Autobiography Award from the San Diego Book Awards Association. Brain XP is special, and I promise you won’t forget what you read in my book!
